		<description>Pease, the e-Paper screen that the Kindle features is in some ways nicer for reading, though.  It&#039;s not color, but it only takes power to change the screen content, so the battery can last a long time.  (The screen works more like an Etch-a-Sketch, I believe.)  Also, it&#039;s more readable for long periods of time because it it not backlit and it&#039;s much more readable in direct sunlight.  But still, I&#039;d rather have a device that allows me to read as well as watch video/play music because I don&#039;t dedicate that much of my life to reading.</description>

		<description>I think you&#039;re right - the main interesting thing about the iPad is the improvement over and competition with Amazon Kindle. The Kindle is a nice idea, but&#039;s it&#039;s black and white only and publishers don&#039;t like it because they&#039;re limited to selling their books at $9.99 a pop (which doesn&#039;t really cover costs for creating content). Apple&#039;s good at user-friendly, and has experience in the music industry with satisfying content producers. Ta-da! E-books are now a competitive market.</description>
